The provider boundary
Your prompt is inspected locally.
Zhunt analyzes the request—and, when needed, recent conversation context—on your machine before selecting a route. It does not upload prompts to Zhunt for classification.
After a route is selected, the request goes directly from your machine to OpenRouter or Nous Portal. The provider you choose still receives the prompt, just as it would if you used that provider directly.
Local by default
- Provider keys stay on your machine in
~/.zhunt/envwith restrictive file permissions. - Zhunt does not proxy requests through its own servers.
- Prompts, responses, and provider keys are excluded from telemetry.
- You can inspect or delete local credentials at any time.
